FAQs

Why am I receiving a bill from Alteon Health?

Our records indicate you recently visited a hospital that is partnered with Alteon Health and received care from one of the Alteon physicians/practitioners. Alteon is a partner with your hospital, but our patient communications and billing are done separately from the hospital or any other partner of the hospital that may have been involved in your care. If other specialists were involved in your care, you may receive a bill from them as well.

I received a text message from Alteon Health. Is this valid?

Yes, Alteon Health sends digital statements and allows you to engage via text, email, and/or portal to pay your bill. If you would like to receive a paper statement, please visit https://pay.alteonhealth.com/ and enter the information from the text message you received. You will be able to download a PDF of your statement.

How can I opt out of text messages and receive only paper statements?

Please follow the instructions you received via text and and reply “STOP” to opt out of receiving future text messages.

How can I get a copy of my statement?

To view a copy of your statement, please log in to your account using your Bill ID (available in the text message, email, or paper statement you received) and/or your date of birth.

How do I receive and pay my bill?

  • When your bill is ready you will receive a notification using your contact methods on file:

      • View bill and payment options:
        • Pay total bill or set-up a flexible payment plan

        • Credit / Debit Card
        • ACH

I have been approved for charity through the hospital. How do I cover my Alteon bill?

Please send a copy of your charity approval letter along with your complete name and date of birth to customer.service@alteonhealth.com. Our team members will honor your charity letter.
