ACOEP 2016 Spring Seminar

We’re back from our sunny trip to Scottsdale for the 2016 ACOEP Spring Seminar.

Despite the surprisingly chilly spring weather, our hearts were warm and brains were buzzing as we took in fantastic conference courses and reconnected with fellow members of the IMM family.

Our team had a blast helping to Clean the World at the welcome reception.

The recruitment team manned the booth as our docs participated in the conference seminars. Two of our favorite IMM emergency medicine residency program directors, Dr. Jill Uberti (Ohio) and Dr. Roya Caloia (Michigan), led Thursday’s “Killer Questions” lecture and discussion. And how fun to have some of the IMM family’s littlest members –and potential future physicians– in the mix!

We love any excuse for some recreation and relaxation! The team celebrated Dr. John Sillery’s 1st place finish (15:10!) in the FOEM 5k Run for Research (Alabama), enjoyed a round of golf with IMM EM resident Dr. Mark Lynam (Michigan)…

…and explored the nearby culinary establishments.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in attending the 2016 ACOEP Spring Seminar. The crew is already looking forward to the Scientific Assembly in San Francisco this fall—see you all at the IMM welcome reception!
